Visiting the Stephens
We spent most of last week with Brian's family in Florida. She got some great time with the Stephens' side. Grandpa has a tradition of putting his grandchildren on top of the fridge. She is the nineteenth one to make it up there:)! We are so proud!
"I can only take so much"
This was our failed attempt at a photo shoot of Cece and her cousin, Kendall. Kendall just pushed her a little too far!
My Cousin Kendall
This is Cece's cousin Kendall. We just love how opposite they look. Kendall is eight months older than Cece, and they are going to be the best of friends!
"Am I Happy or am I Mad"
I find this mood of Cece's hilarious! She's kind of tired, but then, kind of not. She's kind of happy and giggly, but then, kind of not! :)
Daddy
These last few weeks, I have been taking Cece all over the country (well, just to MN and to Myrtle Beach), but last weekend, Cece stayed with Daddy while I worked on finishing my grad school work. He took care of her all day and managed to clean the garage and mow the lawn. I'm starting to feel a little pressure:)! I just love that I can leave her with him. I always knew he would be a great dad, but I didn't know how great! One of the pieces of advice that I have gotten is to let Daddy be Daddy--meaning, he might do things a little differently, but that's good. In fact, someone told me that they read somewhere that children that spent quality time with just dad ended up being more intellegent. Part of the reason is that they learned how to be logical and how to solve problems. Cece doesn't stand a chance of not being logical and learning how to solve problems with her Dad around!!! I even think that's how he makes his living??!! Anyway, I was gone Saturday morning, and he got her bathed, dressed, and even did her hair, but she was so tired she couldn't stay awake for me to see her! That's why he took this video!

"My Uncles are Getting Married"
Cece has the best uncles. Both just got engaged recently giving her the best aunts, as well! Cece and I took a trip to MN this past weekend (without Daddy :() because I'm tired of missing things, and my brother Rollie was having an engagement party. Cece did so well. She did great on the flights, great taking naps, and shared lots of smiles (and just a couple cries). Her uncles had fun seeing a little more action this time. They also cleaned their apartment, made meals, and carried the carseat. We were well taken care of!
I'm Three Months Old
Currently, she is crying because she was woken up from her nap in her stroller and then, transferred to her crib, but most of the time, she is peaceful and happy! She has been smiling a lot more lately(the pic above is a smile, not a cry:))--it just makes people giggle. I brought her to MN this past weekend, and she was smiling away at everyone. Every person she graced with a smile would just light up. My brother, Rollie, at one point said, "I can smile." I don't know what it is about a baby's smile, but it's just so amazing. She's growing like crazy. She has really long arms--Rollie measured them--25 inches long, which is probably as long or longer than her height. I am in awe every day! She brings joy where ever she goes! For those that may be concerned, I think she's done crying now:)!
