Go Gators!

Thursday night was one of the greatest nights ever. I had been sick this week, so Ben, one of my very best friends and fellow Gator fan, came over to watch the game. And Cece experienced her daddy's exuberance for the first time.

I mean seriously, what a night! My beautiful Cecelia put on that wonderful orange and blue for the first time. She laid in my arms and we watched the start of the National Championship game together - our first Gator game to share as father and daughter.

Those who know me know that my passion for the Gators run a little insanely deep. So sharing the game with Cece meant the world to me (we are going to frame her outfit and she will cherish it all the days of her life).

Think about it - she watched Tim Tebow and Percy Harvin lead the Gators to their third National Championship in her first game. This will be an experience she will share with her grandkids some day and they will listen in awe...

  2. We were IN Florida for the big game!!! Our dear friends were there at the actual game and we saw them 2 days later. They were NUTS over it!!!! It's a college friend and they've lived in FL for 12 years now. Gator FREAKS!! We were in St Pete's Beach yesterday and thought about you. Heading home today after we hit Sea World again. Cece is GORGEOUS -- I just can't wait to meet her! Still working on April! Hugs. Karen
