The Way it Should Be
This is not Wednesday, so I can't do "wordless Wednesday", but not much explanation is needed:):

Thankful
Today, I am thankful for:
My cousin, Ryan, coming to visit (the first of our family to come).
Getting to see the Carlson's so often, now that we live an hour away.
The wok my brother Rollie and his wife Caitlyn bought us (I have been limited to cooking solely on a cook-top waiting for the oven to get hooked up).
The tree outside our bedroom window that suddenly bloomed.
And, IKEA rugs that make orange carpet look a little better! (Yes, that is an alligator at the end of our hallway--we have Grandma Stephens to thank for that:).)

Sunshine, Our Town Square, Orange Carpet, and My Favorite Girls
Today was a beautiful day in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. Some of my favorite girls came to spend the night last night--the Carlson girls! My cousin Melanie and I spent a whole summer in Poland with the Carlsons in 1999, and Kelsey, the oldest, was Cece's age. In 2000, Melanie and I also took a trip to Vancouver, WA to see Jillian when she was born.
Here are some pictures from today that also show our town square. This day makes up for yesterday's adventure: our landlord installing bright orange carpet in our hallway (Brian had three conversations with him about brown carpet). Hmmm. Well, we can live with orange carpet, I guess:)!
She's crying because of the orange carpet!
Where is Brian, you might ask? He is at IKEA, our second home!

Cece Speaking "Czech" and English
We finally have internet at our house! Rather than express to you how frustrating the whole process was, I am just going to post this great video of Cece in celebration! Hope you enjoy:

Easter Egg Hunt!
We still don't have internet at our house yet, so I'm sending this from our friends Petr and Lauren's place (their kids are actually in some of these photos--Lia and Toby, Cece's new friends). Connie Patty planned this Easter Egg Hunt, and I mean, it was so great! Because I am not at home, I don't have time to write clever little things about the photos, but I think the photos speak for themselves!
